MAXIS GBN wins Captive Healthcare Specialist award
MAXIS Global Benefits Network (GBN) was named “Captive Healthcare Specialist of the Year” at the 2014 US Captive Services Awards held in Chicago. Organized by Captive Review, the US Captive Service Awards recognize excellence in the delivery and management of captive insurance, and celebrate those who have excelled in the industry over the past year.
“This year’s win is a testament to the great work the MAXIS GBN team is doing in the global health and wellness space,” said Jim Peiffer, Senior Vice President of Global Employee Benefits at MetLife. “With 750 multinational clients in over 100 markets around the world, we continue to set ourselves apart as the leading healthcare specialist by offering flexible and innovative solutions. We look forward to continued innovation in years to come.”
This award comes on the heels of last year’s win when MAXIS GBN was named “Captive Healthcare Specialist of the Year” at the second UK Captive Service Awards. The US Captive Services Awards recognize and reward companies that have outperformed their competitors and demonstrated the highest levels of excellence over the past year. The awards are judged on the criteria of 1) company innovation and depth of understanding of the sector; 2) contributions and involvement in professional organizations and/or regulatory developments; and 3) specific service offerings, service levels and success of the business. The judging panel consists of representatives from Captive Review, industry experts and corporate risk managers.
“MAXIS GBN demonstrated a commitment and energy in the captive healthcare field which set them apart from its competitors. The team’s current offerings and comprehensive reporting prove they are a leader in this space and incredibly deserving of the distinction this year,” said Richard Cutcher, Editor of Captive Review.
This award recognized MAXIS GBN for its leading healthcare management and wellness solutions. MAXIS GBN offers through its members, medical insurance and health and wellness capabilities in over 100 markets with over four million insureds. With its customer-centric focus, MAXIS GBN delivers customer-specific analysis of medical claims, research insights on wellness, client discussion forums, and perspectives on local health and wellness solutions.
