We are delighted to announce that MAXIS GBN is now an official partner of PARIMA, the Pan-Asian Risk and Insurance Management Association. Headquartered in Singapore, PARIMA is dedicated to developing the risk management profession across the Asian continent. The association currently has 1,400 members, primarily risk managers, Chief Risk Officers and other C-suite executives working in medium- to large-sized enterprises.

In particular, the partnership will allow MAXIS GBN to further develop its captives business in Asia. Among other activity, MAXIS GBN will be present at PARIMA’s two main industry conferences in 2018 - one in Bangkok and one in Japan - which will provide the opportunity to meet clients and network with prospects in the region.

In March 2018 MAXIS GBN organised their first successful event with PARIMA, at which there were 40 people delegates. Along with speakers from AXA Assistance, EY and Willis Towers Watson, Andrew Stocker from MAXIS GBN gave a presentation on trends impacting the employee benefits captive industry.

PARIMA is the Asia representative of IFRIMA, the International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations, the international umbrella organisation for risk management associations. PARIMA itself is represented in 13 countries across Asia, including India, China, Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia. The relationship with MAXIS GBN is set to continue throughout 2018 and provide us with greater visibility in the region and access to PARIMA’s unparalleled local network.
